Frank Casanova, Apple’s director of QuickTime product marketing, will be a panelist at the second annual iWireless World, an international conference and showcase focusing on mobile content, commerce, entertainment and technology. The event will take place April 17-18, at the Wyndham BelAge Hotel in Los Angeles.
Casanova will be on a panel that discusses “Music and Video, Unplugged.” They’ll address such questions as: What’s the outlook for streaming, wireless content? What platforms will it occur over? Can it be monetized? Who stands to dominate the space? Other panel members are: Jeremy Welt, head of New Media, Maverick Records; Dann Welkins, VP of marketing, PacketVideo; and R. Larry Atwell, director of business development, AT&T Wireless Multimedia Services. The panel moderator will be Chris Marlowe, technology reporter for “The Hollywood Reporter.”
The two-day iWireless World is designed to educate and connect the creators of the 21st century’s “first great technology revolution — the transformation of content, entertainment, commerce and technology into a wireless medium that will change how we work and play.” For details and the latest conference agenda, go to the conference Web site.
