Tivola Publishing, a publisher of children’s educational software, is releasing a new Peanuts interactive CD-ROM game: “Where’s the Blanket, Charlie Brown?”
In the game, Snoopy must go on a mission to track down Linus’ blanket. Players will need to discover hidden clues and games to solve the mystery. Mixing animation and nine games within the game, “Where’s the Blanket, Charlie Brown?” is designed to help kids “build social and orientation skills, explore math and music concepts, develop problem solving and critical thinking skills while enjoying the ‘real kid humor’ of Peanuts as they play,” according to Tivola Vice President Eve Seber.
The nine games include: Musical Memory Game, Steer the Bus with Snoopy, Math and Pattern Recognition Game, Supermarket Rally, Houndini’s Greatest Trick, Catch the Beagle, Blanket Puzzle, Flying Game, and Find the Book Game.
The game will be released next month for US$19.99. Minimum system requirements are a Power Mac running Mac OS 8.1, 32 MB of RAM, and 40 MB of free hard disc space.
