Apple has released a new update to Microsoft’s Internet Explorer Web browser software. The new update can be downloaded through the Software Update system preferences pane in Mac OS X.
Version 5.1.4 is the latest release of Internet Explorer. According to Apple, this new build of Internet Explorer for Mac OS X “resolves all potential security vulnerabilities in previous versions of Internet Explorer 5.”
It also resolves issues that could cause Internet Explorer to stop responding. A memory problem that could potentially compromise the security of the computer has also been addressed.
To download the 3.9MB update, open the Software Update system preferences pane and click on the Update Now button.
