Japan’s LittleWing is responsible for some of the most realistic and fun pinball simulations on the Macintosh platform. Games like Tristan, Eight Ball Deluxe, Crystal Caliburn, Loony Labyrinth, Golden Logres and Angel Egg are all counted among the company’s successes. Now after two years in development, LittleWing is about to release a new pinball game for Macs and PCs called Jinni Zeala.
Jinni Zeala draws its inspiration from the tales of Arabian Nights, with magic genies and sultan’s harems, flying carpets and all the rest here for your entertainment. The game features a rendered 3D playfield with “authentic” pinball art, an accurate physics engine, plenty of animation and effects, an energetic soundtrack, and a series of strategic challenges that will test your skill as a pinball wizard.
Five bonus stages are activated by collecting items on the pinball playfield in specific orders. And if you complete all five bonus stages and see the Fortuneteller, the special Flying Harem bonus stage will activate too.
Set to be released on May 1, Jinni Zeala is now available for pre-order for ¥2,480, or about US$18.90 at today’s exchange rate.
