The MacExperts will be coming to the Macworld New York Web site. What and who are MacExperts? They’re “industry leaders who will share their insights and expertise in a series of columns posted on the Macworld Conference & Expo Web site,” according to the folks at IDG World Expo, producers of Macworld New York.
Each column will feature a different MacExpert in the months leading up to the next Macworld conference, which will take place July 15-19, at Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York. You can cruise on over to the MacExperts area of the Macworld New York Web site to learn about Mac industry issues, the future of the Mac platform, new products and services and a preview of the hot topics for this summer’s expo.
MacExperts include popular figures in the Mac community who have previously served as speakers in the Macworld Conference & Expo conference program, and were selected on the basis of their expertise and enthusiasm for the Mac platform, according to Darrell Baker, vice president of event services, IDG World Expo. The MacExperts column is located in the “Conference Program” area of the MWNY site.
The first featured MacExpert is Bert Monroy, co-author of “The Official Adobe Photoshop Handbook,” and author of “Bert Monroy: Photorealistic Techniques with Photoshop and Illustrator.” Monroy, who will present a Users Conference session on “Photoshop Digital Creation: Uncanny Realism,” at MWNY, offers commentary on the upcoming event and the Mac community in the initial edition of the MacExperts column. And, hey, it’s online today. The next column will be posted on the Macworld site the week of April 29.
