World Without Borders is celebrating their fifth anniversary, and the User Group Advisory Board (UGAB) is helping to celebrate.
The UGAB is a group of leaders who run successful user groups in their communities. The organization is chartered with providing feedback and advice on issues related to the Apple User Group Program.
Instead of the usual monthly chat hosted by the UGAB and the Regional Liaisons Team, the UGAB will present MUG Trivia Shootout 2002, according to Chuck Joiner, editor-in-chief of The MUG Center. It will be held this Thursday, April 18, at 7:00 pm (Pacific) and is open to all MUG members and leaders.
Complete details and rules are available at The MUG Center. Contestants will be competing for prizes donated by Casady & Greene, Macworld Magazine, MacAddict and O’Reilly & Associates
Also, a variety of Macintosh celebrities are providing “brain-numbing trivia questions” to liven up the event, Joiner said. Contestants will hear questions from Guy Kawasaki, Chris Breen, Shawn King, Adam Engst, Bob Levitus and more.
MUGs are good places for making new friends, finding Mac-loving buddies, boning up your technical expertise, finding solutions to technical problems, and sometimes finding a good deal on used hardware.
