Apple and Final Cut Pro will make an appearance at a pre-West Fest 2002 workshop April 19-20 at Sul Ross State University in Alpine, TX.
Sul Ross students, staff and faculty can attend for free. However, the workshop, to be held in the University Center, is open to students and instructors throughout Texas.
West Fest is a digital video festival to be held at Sul Ross on Nov. 1-2. The pre-festival workshop and panels is designed to give young video and filmmakers the opportunity to learn the basic tools to produce their own short-form videos, according to an online report.
On Friday, April 19, Apple will host a four-hour session on Final Cut Pro, its high-end video editing application. At 7 p.m., a viewing of the West Fest 2000 winners will be presented, and at 8 p.m. viewers will catch a screening of the 2001 Student Academy Award Winners.
