Super Get Info, which requires Mac OS X 10.1 or later (OS X 10.1 or later is recommended and is required for the Finder keyboard shortcut and Dock menu integration), lets you open a separate info window for each selected Finder item, so that multiple selected items can be viewed and edited discretely. It also lets you view and edit the Mac OS type and creator codes for a given file; view and edit the Unix owner, group, and permission settings for any file or folder; and change a file’s creation and modification dates.
New in version 1.07 is preview support for audio tracks on mounted CD volumes, vCard documents, and clipping files, including Unicode text and URL clippings. The update also incorporates various enhancements and fixes for reported issues.
The cost is US$20. However, you can download a fully-functional demo version that’s good for 14 days. Registered users of Super Get Info may upgrade free of charge to version 1.0.7 by downloading the update package.
