Bitstream today released its fifth set of fonts from the New Font Collection program. The new release sports display and text fonts created by Nick Curtis, Charles Gibbons, Nicolai Gogoll, and Mary Trafton. They’ve been release in PostScript Type 1 and TrueType formats for Windows and Mac OS.
The Spring 2002 release features nine new display and text fonts, including four exclusives to Bitstream. The collection includes: Drescher Grotesk Light, Book, Roman and Demi by Nicolai Gogoll, “a sturdy German geometric design” named after Arno Drescher. FM Black Cherry Moon, Alternate, Ligature, and Doubles by Charles Gibbons and Mary Trafton, the latest in a series of “casual lettering styles” named after “folk” names for full moons. Steppin’ Out by Nick Curtis, described as a “stylish, Deco-inspired typeface.”
