Washington Times columnist Mark Kellner has been using Mac OS X for six weeks and has found Apple’s new operating system to be “rock solid” if not perfect. In
writing about his experience, he’s found Mac OS X to be pretty much crash-proof.
Kellner also finds the Aqua interface attractive. And while there are some applications written for Microsoft Windows that don’t appear in “Mac-land,” he says they’re relatively few. If you do run into such a scenario, Kellner recommends Virtual PC 5 from Connectix.
The columnist is running Mac OS X on a new iMac, which he also likes. Kellner also seems smitten with iPhoto and iTunes.
“I’m moving dangerously close to making a lifetime commitment here — at least for the “lifetime” of my next computer,” he writes.
