Apple’s new iMac is still selling like wildfire on Amazon.com. The flat panel computer model still tops the Amazon.com Computer Store Sales Chart.
“Consumers were quick to respond when the new flat-panel iMacs launched in mid-February, snapping up Amazon.com’s entire first shipment in less than four hours,” company officials report in their latest Top Sellers report. “Despite an initial limited supply industry-wide, the iMacs have maintained record-setting sales on the site and continue to be the fastest-selling computers in the history of Amazon.com’s Computer store.”
Flat-panel iMacs are now reported to be “in plentiful supply” in the Amazon.com Computer store. The best-selling, critically praised system holds two of the top three bestseller spots, with the iMac protection plan being the third bestseller.
The 800MHz model with SuperDrive is in the top slot, followed by the 700MHz iMac with 256MB RAM and 40GB hard drive. The third-place AppleCare Protection Plan for iMac lets you extend your Mac’s warranty to three years. Amazon.com Top Sellers lists track online sales in real-time.
