CS-Odessa Corp. has announced the release of an update to ConceptDraw MINDMAP Standard and Professional versions. The new version, 1.1, is ready for download from the ConceptDraw Web site.
ConceptDraw MINDMAP is a cross-platform diagramming and flowcharting application with rich drawing capabilities based on CS-Odessa’s popular ConceptDraw engine. The software has been developed for quick and easy presentation of information in the form of organized and colorful visual maps. It’s proven to be popular among managers, educators and business professionals, according to the developer.
ConceptDraw MINDMAP 1.1 gains he ability to export to Portable Document Format (PDF), enabling users of the application to share files will users on different platforms and the Internet. Hyperlinks embedded in the MINDMAP documents remain live after the export, and it also lets users embed fonts into the export file if necessary.
ConceptDraw MINDMAP 1.1 also provides the ability to send a branch with all of its sub-branches to a new page, thus forming a new Mind Map. The original branch and the new map are both hyperlinked automatically. As a result, MINDMAP users can now create multi-maps within a single document, simplifying the way large Mind Maps are handled.
CS-Odessa has also tweaked the Find/Replace Text feature and fixed a number of minor bugs. A comprehensive version history document is available for review online.
