Attendees at next week’s Apple Worldwide Developer Conference will have a chance to meet and greet the company’s top student developers at the Student Developer Career Mixer on Sunday, May 5.
Okay, technically that’s the day before WWDC 2002, which runs May 6-10 in San Jose. The informal Student Developer Career Mixer is designed so that attending developers have an opportunity to meet and recruit students for internships or full time employment. Nearly 300 student developers are expected to attend.
Most students are working toward Computer Science degrees and all have Mac programming experience, according to Apple. All student developers are also WWDC 2002 Scholarship winners. Developers who wish to attend the mixer must have a WWDC 2002 Conference e-ticket and sign up at the appropriate online form.
The Career Mixer will be held from 4-5:30 pm on Sunday, May 5, at the San Jose Convention Center. Food and beverage will be provided.
