CE Software, the company behind such products as QuicKeys and QuickMail, has reported a net loss of US$32,000, or $0.02 per share, for their second financial quarter.
The same quarter a year ago saw a net loss of $272,000, or $0.23 per share. Revenues were $449,000 for the quarter ended March 31, compared to $400,000 for the same quarter a year ago.
“The release of QuicKeys X for the Mac OS X operating system in October 2001 and the upgrade for QuickMail in January 2002 have helped increase our revenues,” said John S. Kirk, CE Software president, in announcing the financial results. “We are pleased with our customers’ acceptance of these products. In April we released an upgrade for QuicKeys for Windows. We are continuing our commitment to develop software to enhance user productivity for small and mid-sized businesses while operating under tight expense controls.”
