Ambrosia Software has updated Snapz Pro X, their screen capture utility, to version 1.0.3.
Once Snapz Pro X is installed, a single keystroke can save anything visible on screen in a wide variety of image file formats. The utility supports saving screen images as .bmp, .pict, .gif, .jpg, .png, .tiff, .pdf, or Photoshop files, and can even record the action as a QuickTime movie.
The update fixes a bug that could sometimes cause the virtual memory sub-system to run out of pmap entries when Snapz Pro X was invoked.
Snapz Pro X 1.0.3 requires Mac OS X. It’s a 13.1MB download from the Ambrosia Software Web site and is free to registered users (which includes you if you’ve purchased a new pro Apple system.)
Snapz Pro X costs US$29 without the QuickTime movie capture feature. With it, the price tag is US$49.
