Airvana president and CEO Randy Battat, will deliver a presentation addressing the company’s business strategy and the state of the wireless infrastructure market at the Lehman Brothers 2002 Global Wireless Conference, May 20-21, at The Waldorf-Astoria Hotel in New York. Battat was employed at Apple for over a decade.
Battat joined Airvana from Motorola, where he was most recently senior vice president and general manager of the Internet and networking group. He was responsible for a full line of wire line and wireless access solutions, broadband communications, corporate networking, wireless content services and platform software. Before Motorola, Battat spent 13 years at Apple where he held several positions, including vice president of the PowerBook division, and vice president of worldwide product marketing.
Airvana designs and builds all-IP 3G Radio Access Network (RAN) infrastructure equipment. A Webcast and online version of the presentation will be available during the presentation.
