Apple is planning DV (digital-video) discovery sessions in the Republic of Ireland and London in May and June, according to Macworld UK . Venues include Dublin on May 22, Galway on May 23, Cork on May 24 and London on June 17.
Targeted to teachers, it shows instructors how to use Apple technology to tell stories, demonstrate science experiments, perform drama or role play, develop visual literacy, record lessons for others to watch later, create coursework, gather evidence, celebrate pupil achievement, analyze a musical performance and more. The free sessions will also focus on Desktop Movies, or iMovies. Apple will show how to create and share movies with parents, other schools, even other countries.
Meanwhile, Solutions, Inc., an Apple authorized reseller, will host a digital hub demo on June 11 at the Joinery in East Sussex. Showcased at the free event will be Apple’s digital hub applications including iMovie, iTunes, iPhoto and iDVD.
