Pocket Software has announced the release of
PocketBackup 1.1, a new version of the company’s simplified Mac OS X backup management utility.
PocketBackup follows a three step backup process: Select files, select a backup destination drive, then click on the Backup button. Content can be saved to Mac standard disk images or burned to CDs. The software can perform timed backups, mount AppleTalk volumes and other networked drives, and has been localized in English, French and German languages.
PocketBackup 1.1 has eliminated some minor bugs and updated its localization support. Additionally, users can now split source files into multiple parts, more easily allowing large folders to be backed up.
PocketBackup 1.1 is a free update for all registered users.
Released as US$20 shareware, a 30-day free trial version of PocketBackup is also available for download from the Web site.
