Rage Software has updated WebDesign, their Web development tool for the traditional Mac operating system and Mac OS X, to version 1.5.3. The update, free to registered users, fixes a problem with previewing files in a selected Web browser.
WebDesign lets users download a Web site right from the Internet. It also offers the ability to condense text, create image maps and other HTML components visually. WebDesign’s properties window can be used to edit tag attributes and browse local and remote volumes while editing Web pages.
The HTML editor sports a drag and drop tools palette, customizable toolbar, advanced syntax coloring, and the ability to upload and download files to your FTP server. You can also use the app to translate Web pages into multiple languages.
A single user license for WebDesign is US$29.95; for 10-49 licenses, it’s $24.95 per unit; for 50-plus licenses, the cost is $29.95. WebDesign can be downloaded from the Rage Software Web site. Volume discounts are available. Also, Rage Software is now providing a competitive upgrade offer for registered users of PageSpinner 3.0 or later.
