The Pandaware Company has announced the release of TimeCache 5.0 and TimeCache Data Merger 2.0, major new upgrades to the company’s time and expense tracking applications for Mac OS and Mac OS X.
TimeCache enables Mac-using professionals like designers, architects, Web developers, attorneys, consultants and others to keep track of their billable time and expenses. New features in TimeCache 5.0 include enhanced reporting functions, on-screen reports and data export. Tax and markups can be added to time and expense charges, and a new list manager enables you to access the lists used in TimeCache’s data entry more quickly. The software also gains preferences for customization and interface enhancements.
Separate versions are available for “Classic” Mac OS and Mac OS X 10.1 and higher. Fully feature-enabled trial versions are also available for download. A registration is required to fully unlock the program; it costs US$45.
TimeCache 4.x users who bought the software after March 1, 2002 will receive a free registration for 5.0. Others are required to pay a US$15 upgrade fee per user.
TimeCache Data Merger has also been upgraded to version 2.0. TimeCache Data Merger enables workgroups of TimeCache users to consolidate their TimeCache data into a single tab-delimited text file.
The new version of TimeCache Data Merger supports additional data fields in TimeCache 5.0 and has speed enhancements, as well.
Licenses for TimeCache Data Merger cost $150; users buying after March 1 can get a free upgrade, and others can upgrade for $40.
