Gardner Resources Consulting is apparently planning a forward migration to the Mac platform. According to an online note, the company is looking for a Mac OS X specialist to help them make the move.
The company is planning to replace 3,200 desktops and laptops and are looking to establish a standardized environment for new machines. They currently have machines running Windows 95, 98 and XP. The person they’re looking for must have experience upgrading machines to Mac OS X and installing the operating system in a large scale (3,000-plus machines) environment.
The Mac OS X specialist also must be able to analyze applications running on these machines and recommend version upgrades or alternative software packages. And experience creating standard and customized images are a plus.
Formed in 1996, Gardner Resources Consulting is a boutique placement firm specializing in Accounting and Finance talent scouting. (Thanks to MacCentral reader, Ron Duritsch, for alerting us to this tidbit of info.)
