Apple has posted a new feature to its Games Web site called E3: Bringing you incredible Mac gaming action. Penned by University of Idaho Apple Campus rep Aaron Stanton, the new feature shows of some of the great games shown at last week’s E3 Expo that are playable on or coming to the Mac.
Stanton relayed positive comments about the Mac platform both from a development and gaming perspective from Shadowbane developer Wolfpack Studios’ Robert Marsa, as well as Lineage maker NCsoft’s Richard “Lord British” Garriott.
Marsa told Stanton that it took Wolfpack one tenth the amount of time to develop a patch interface for their Mac OS X client as it did to do the same thing on Windows (Shadowbane is still in development, by the way). Garriott told Stanton that things “are going very well” for NCsoft with its Mac version of Lineage, released earlier this year.
Stanton also mentioned Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos, Neverwinter Nights, Doom III and included screenshots of various titles. Check it out for details.
