Wall Street investors are treating Apple stock cautiously today after word circulated that securities firm Morgan Stanley is disputing expectations of how many flat-panel iMacs Apple will ship this quarter.
General consensus among Wall Street investors and analysts is that Apple would move about 300,000 of the redesigned G4-equipped iMac this quarter, but recently news suggests that Apple has moved its overseas manufacturing to different vendors following parts delivery issues.
Word on Wall Street is that Morgan Stanley has lowered its expectation to about 235,000 iMac units instead.
Apple declined to comment for this story.
