Austin, Tx.-based Shapiro Consulting Group Inc. (SCGI) has announced the release of Asiva Photo version 1.1, a new update to their 16-bit color correction and image enhancement application.
Asiva Photo is aimed at digital photographers, graphic artists and desktop publishing professionals who need to make color corrections and enhancements. Asiva Photo works differently from other digital imaging apps because it doesn’t use masks, enabling users to create natural-looking color-corrected images quickly.
The new version of Asiva Photo gains addition file and conversion support, according to SCGI vice president of marketing, Roland Lee. Lee noted that the new version features “vastly improved” color correction algorithms, as well.
Asiva Photo runs on Mac OS 8.6 to 9.x, and Mac OS X as well. The upgrade to 1.1 will be available at no charge to all registered users, according to Lee.
