The Gemini Unified Datamining System (Gemini UDS) from Snowtide Informatics Systems has been updated to version 1.1.4 adding the ability to export search results as HTML files. Problems introduced by version 1.4 of Sun’s Java Runtime have been fixed, as has a bug that caused e-mailed search results to sometimes contain internal Gemini UDS data.
Also, with this release comes a brand-new user’s guide that details all Gemini UDS’s features. The user’s guide is now included with every copy of Gemini UDS, and may also be downloaded separately.
Gemini UDS is a Mac OS X tool that uses patent-pending technology called Localized Webcrawling to automate and manage a search process. A free trial version is available now at the Snowtide Web site. It may later be unlocked for unlimited use by purchasing a serial number through the Snowtide Informatics Systems online store. Gemini UDS has a retail price of US$109.95 for a single-user license; volume and site license discounts are available.
