Shawn King, the host-producer of
Your Mac Life, the Internet show about all things Mac, will be making, as usual, “endless noise” on tonight’s episode.
No, wait. That’s not quite right. Jeff Elmassian, award-winning sound designer and creative director for Endless Noise, will be talking with King about his work and sound design on the Mac. Endless Noise is a sound design and music company that has done high-profile ad work for Nike and the U.S. Postal Service. See our
articles for more info.
Also, Frank Casanova, Apple’s QuickTime marketing guru, will be on hand to talk about QuickTime 6. In fact, King said that Your Mac Life would be the first show to use the new technology. Yesterday, Apple announced that a
preview edition of QT 6 was available.
Wednesday’s show also marks the beginning of the official Your Mac Life Macworld Expo New York 2002 Countdown. King will take a look at what’s on tap for MWNY. Plus, he promises a “very special announcement” regarding the expo. MWNY will be held July 15-19 at the Jacob J. Javits Center in New York City. For details go to the
conference Web site.
You can catch Your Mac Life every Wednesday evening from 6-8 pm (Pacific). You can also join the show’s gang in the chat rooms on the
World Without Borders Web site
or on the Dal.Net servers on IRC in the #yourmaclife Channel.
