Chaparral Software has updated Brushfire, its script analysis utility for FileMaker Pro, to version 1.5.3.
Brushfire, a cross platform tool, detects and organizes FileMaker Pro script errors, details and cross-reference information from all files of a FileMaker Pro 5.0 (or above) solution. With Brushfire, users debug, cleanup and document their FileMaker Pro based solutions conveniently and quickly, Russell Kohn of Chaparral, told MacCentral.
Version 1.5.3 adds “Next” and “Previous” buttons added to the script detail screen, simplifying reading script text in native script order, Kohn said. Duplicate script text files are now handled more “gracefully,” he added. With the update, Brushfire works better with Internet Explorer and its key validation is “more forgiving,” Kohn said.
