The software utility makers at Mireth Technology have released a Macintosh trash manager for Mac OS X called ToTheTrash!, which provides a place to put those files you’re not sure that you’re ready to delete.
You can also specify how long to keep each one (days, weeks, months, or years). ToTheTrash! will store the files for you until they expire, so you can retrieve them if you decide you need them. If you decide you don’t need them, ToTheTrash! will automatically delete it for you once it’s expired.
It has a drag and drop interface and supports multi-disk and multi-user systems and can be from the desktop or from the Dock. It costs US$19.95 and can be ordered from Mireth’s Web site. Bulk discounts are available, as is a demo version.
