Subband Software has announced the release of MacAmp Lite X 1.1.0, a new version of its shareware digital music player for the Mac.
The developer said that MacAmp Lite uses less CPU cycles than other audio apps and saves on screen space as well by using a compact player window that floats above other applications. Plug-ins enhance the product’s features, as well, with support for broadcast and voiceover capabilities. MacAmp Lite X also supports more than 200 “skins” which provide a custom look for the software.
The free update to MacAmp Lite X adds new features and fixes bugs, according to Subband.
