Management Software has introduced the first professional version of JobOrder, customized specifically for architecture, according to a note on the Architosh Web site. Over 1,000 enhancements in this release provide architects and related professionals with unprecedented control over their scheduling, estimating, job costing, project management and accounting operations.
JobOrder, the business management software for the Mac, is targeted to design, advertising, engineering and consulting companies — and now architects — as a cross-platform, client-server solution for estimating, time and expense tracking, activity and resource scheduling, invoicing, accounting, and reporting.
It includes full Professional Services Automation and Customer Relationship Management functionality with both Client-Server and Web Native access. It’s “ideally suited” to meet the needs of organizations with 10 to 500 employees, according to Management Software.
JobOrder 10.1 for architects includes major enhancements to their “unique cross-platform analysis and display tools with many significant improvements,” they said. Special introductory promotional pricing is available at the product Web site.
JobOrder 10.1 runs on Mac OS 8.6, 9.04, 9.1 and 9.2.1. A Mac OS X version is under development.
