The shareware developers at SoftoBe have updated Folders Synchronizer to version 3.0. The latest version of the utility that synchronizes and backs-up files and folders is for Mac OS X only.
With the US$40 product, you can choose one or more pairs of files/folders/disks and they will be synchronized/backed-up. When synchronizing, the old files will be replaced with the newest files in both directions. The old Folders won’t be replaced entirely by the newer ones, as the Finder used to do, but their content will be updated with the newest files.
If you choose the “Backup” option, Folders Synchronizer switches to a BackUp mode. The destination folder will be upgraded with the newest files and Folders coming from the source folder. The source folder will be left untouched.
You can download Folders Synchronizer X, as well as earlier versions for the traditional Mac operating system at the product Web page.
