CE Software has updated QuicKeys X, its automation utility for Mac OS X, to version 1.5.2. The update fixes bugs with the Scope option.
QuicKeys lets you create shortcuts for menu items and window controls. Plus, it offers more control over simulating mouse clicks relative to a window, according to John Kirk, president of CE Software. You can choose any menu from your favorite applications. You can automatically collapse, close or zoom a window. With QuickKeys X 1.5, you can immediately start or stop the Classic environment — or start your screen saver. And it’s now easier to choose a server, Kirk said.
QuicKeys X 1.5.2 is US$79.95 for a single user license. Registered users of version 1.5.x can download a free update. An upgrade from version 1.x is $15.95 per user. A “migration” price for current Mac and Windows QuicKeys customers is $64.95 per user.
