The groundbreaking for the Allentown Business School’s new campus building in Center Valley, PA. The three-story, 95,000-square-foot facility will have four Mac labs and five PC labs.
The US$18.5 million project will also house classes currently held in two individual buildings. It will include more than 40 classrooms, five networked computer laboratories, two art studios, a medical lab, a photo and video studio, a learning resource center equipped with personal computers and Internet access for student use, a student lounge, a bookstore and offices for faculty, financial aid and administration.
Founded in 1869, the school was originally located at Ninth and Hamilton Streets in Allentown. Completion of the new facility, located at 2809 East Saucon Valley Road, is slated for June 2003 with the first classes scheduled for July 2003.
While Allentown Business School’s programs have changed to reflect the demands of the job market, the school has remained committed to offering industry current curricula that offers excellent job placement opportunities. The new campus building will also open up space for additional programs. The school has a total enrollment of 1,400 students.
