Mac columnist Rodney O. Lain, the “iBrotha,” took his own life over the weekend. The news was reported by Mac Observer chief Bryan Chaffin this morning.
A long time Mac Observer contributor, Lain also wrote for MacAddict and many other Mac-related publications. He also regularly contributed to Low End Mac and AppleLinks.
A former journalist and college professor, Lain didn’t limit his sometimes acerbic viewpoints to things Macintosh, either. He also let his views be known on issues ranging from religion to race, with his iBrotha Web site serving as a pulpit from which to speak.
Lain is survived by his wife Irma. For more details, please check the link above.
