Kids’ software publisher Knowledge Adventure has announced the release of Fisher-Price Little People Discovery Airport, a new title for children ages 2-4.
The new release has been designed to promote social and creative development, according to Knowledge Adventure. It sports five age-appropriate activities for kids that help to introduce developmental skills, stimulate curiosity and encourage imaginative play.
Based on the popular Fisher-Price toy line, Little People Discovery Airport lets kids be in the control tower, where they can help clear planes for take-off. Sarah Lynn needs help to sort suitcases by shape and color before they can be loaded on the plane, while Sonya Lee has to help pets get ready to take trips by matching their numbered tags with their carriers. Maggie and Pilot Paula help teach kids about different kids of weather as they fly through a maze, and Michael will let kids build and paint their own airplane.
The new title sports three levels of game play that adjust to each user’s individual skill level, and the game also includes nine printable Fun Pages that let kids take their experience beyond the computer.
Fisher Price Little People Discovery Airport ships on hybrid CD-ROM compatible with both Windows and Mac OS; Mac system requirements call for Mac OS 8.6 or higher, including Mac OS X 10.1 or higher. The CD-ROM costs US$19.99.
