Starting on tonight’s edition of Your Mac Life host-producer Shawn King is expanding the Internet show about all things Mac, an extra 30 minutes. Now, at the beginning of the show, King will take phone calls and answer e-mails from listeners.
This means that Your Mac Life will now start at 5:30 pm (Pacific) with call-ins, announcements, email and chat rooms, along with the usual prizes. Of course, there will still be guests; one of tonight’s being Deborah Fort, program director for GirlsFilmSchool, a program that provides high school girls with an introduction to the basic concepts of writing, producing, acting, documentary producing, editing, sound, cinematography and Web site design. Naturally, they use Macs in their work.
David Biedny, Photoshop guru and Adobe certified expert, will join King to discuss people, events, software and hardware you may not have heard about in the “Under the Radar” segment. And, as always, MacCentral and Macworld magazine’s Game Guru and my MacCentral compadre, Peter Cohen, will be on hand with the latest Mac gaming news. If you have questions for any of tonight’s guests, e-mail them to King ASAP.
This evening’s show continues the Official Your Mac Life Macworld Expo New York 2002 Countdown. King will take another look at what IDG has on tap for this July, and you can hear more details about the special hotel offer (US$135 per night) that Your Mac Life and IDG have lined up for Expo goers. What’s more, you can tune in tonight and learn how you can get a free MWNY Exhibits Pass, valued at $35.
You can catch Your Mac Life every Wednesday evening. You can also the show’s gang in the chat rooms on the World Without Borders Web site or on the Dal.Net servers on IRC in the #yourmaclife Channel.
