KB Productions has announced the release of Tiger’s Eye Pub, a casino gambling game for System 7 through Mac OS X — and soon for Windows, according to the developer.
The game features blackjack, roulette wheels and video poker machines. Set in a pub, the game even features a bartender who serves up drinks and converses with the player.
“After getting your drink, sit down at one of the tables and nurse your beverage while you try to make a fortune at the gaming tables. If you lose your shirt, beg the bartend for some coinage and he may scrape the penny tray for your benefit,” said developer Karl Becker.
System requirements call System 7 or later (separate downloads are available for pre-Carbon operating systems), 8MB RAM, 10MB HD space and QuickTime.
The initial release, Tiger’s Eye Pub 1.0, is shareware and costs US$10 to register. KB Productions advises that the price will increase with version 1.1. New versions will sport deeper gameplay, as well.
