Apimac — the developers behind such products as Apimac Note Book, Apimac Clean Text, Apimac Address Book, and Apimac Slide Show — have released Apimac Secret Folder 2.2 for Mac OS 7, 8 and 9. Apimac Secret Folder for Mac OS X was released two weeks ago, according to MacTech magazine . The latest version improves general performance by means of source code optimization.
Apimac Secret Folder offers a way to protect documents and avoid them being seen, modified or erased by other users (either on a network or uninvited), and it can be password protected for extra security.
Among other enhancements in version 2.2, the Get Folder Information option now shows the size of the selected folder, and the capability to reset the application supports a drag & drop implementation.
Apimac Secret Folder 2.2 for Mac OS 7, 8 and 9 is a US$14.99 shareware application. Registered users can upgrade to the new version for free. You can download Apimac Secret Folder 2.2 at the product Web site.
