DiskOnKey devices store data on flash memory and connect to Windows or Mac OS-equipped systems using a USB interface. Small enough to fit on a keychain, the DiskOnKey is useful for graphic designers, photographers, systems managers, educators and anyone else who needs to transport data from one system to another quickly and easily, according to M-Systems.
DiskOnKey devices are already available in capacities ranging from 8MB to 256MB, with prices ranging from US$29.99 to $249.99. The new 512MB model tips the scales at $499.99. DiskOnKeys are available from various online retailers, including Apple (though the Apple Store doesn’t list the 512MB model just yet).
