Griffin Technology has updated their PowerMate software for Mac OS 9 and Mac OS X to 1.1.1. The Windows versions have also been updated, bring convergence to both Mac and PC versions so you can switch between platforms and retain the same functionality and list of features.
PowerMate software 1.1.1 for Mac OS 9 and Mac OS X includes several bug fixes and feature improvements, including an installer that retains all previous settings when upgrading. Other improvements include a labeled Sensitivity and Key Repeat Rate slider.
PowerMate software is free and available immediately for download. Of course, unless you have the PowerMate device, it won’t do you much good. The PowerMate is a US$45 universal audio and media controller that provides support for volume control, muting, soft power on.
