Five canvas Mosaics are currently traveling the United States and Canada being signed by the 35 artists that each made tiles for the project. Many of these people signed the Mosaic at retail Apple store locations in their cities.
The staff at the Willow Bend Apple Store invited M.G. (Shooshie) Roberts, one of the artists, to give a presentation to customers on how the Mosaic and his tile were built using Macintosh hardware and software. The event will take place on Wednesday July 3 at 7:00 pm.
Apple’s retail locations have “Made on the Mac” presentations in most of the stores. These presentations feature unique ways that people have used the Mac to create artwork, books, movies and much more.
If you live near the Willow Bend location, stop by and see how the Mosaic was built from one of the artists involved in the project. The store is located at 6121 West Park Blvd. Suite C120 in Plano, TX.
