Mac Publishing, the company behind Macworld magazine and MacCentral, and Your Mac Life, the Internet show about all things Mac, will jointly host a gala private party on Thursday, July 18, 2002, during the week of Macworld Conference & Expo New York.
This VIP event will be held at the Decade club and restaurant and will offer food, beverages and giveaways as well as the rock-and-roll sounds of “The Macintosh All Star Band,” a group of well-known industry pundits including Chris Breen, Andy Inhatko, and Paul Kent, presented by the Mac Observer.
You’ll need tickets to get into the event. But they’re not for sale. You’ll have to win tickets from Shawn King, host-producer of Your Mac Life. To do so, send him an e-mail with “Party!” in the subject line. Then tune into the Your Mac Life and YML XTended radio shows to hear your name get drawn.
Sponsors of this event include Macworld, TackyShirt, Mactivity, MacCentral, Griffin Technology, Company Stuff and Marathon Computer. Sponsorships are still available for a limited time. Interested parties should e-mail Shawn King, host-producer of Your Mac Life, for details.
Macworld New York will be held July 15-19 at the Jacob J. Javits Center in New York City. For details go to the conference Web site.
