Sorenson Services USA and Totally Hip are teaming up for two new training seminars.
Totally Hip is sponsoring the LiveStage Professional Authoring Workshop this weekend, prior to the start of Macworld New York. LiveStage is the company’s QuickTime authoring tool.
The two-day, hands-on workshop trains participants in LiveStage Professional, aided by Teacher’s Assistants offering one-on-one support. The workshop blends video layers, Flash, audio, VR and Media Skins into an integrated environment, according to Joe Money, one of the instructors.
“With the addition of MPEG-4 video and Flash 5 to QuickTime 6, this is a very exciting time for QuickTime development, “he said. “This course teaches expert techniques for developing interactive QuickTime movies.”
Sorenson Services USA is sponsoring the Ultimate Streaming seminar July 20-21, the weekend after Macworld New York. The seminar offers two days of advanced training on the major streaming formats, MPEG-4, QuickTime, Real Media and Windows Media. It features solutions from Apple, Discreet, Microsoft, Real Networks and Sorenson Media and covers both video on demand and live streaming, said Dale Sorenson, president of Sorenson Services USA.
Attendees will get objective comparisons and learn the pros and cons of the different tools. Emerging technologies for wireless streaming and handheld video are covered. The seminar also includes an updated MPEG-4 training segment.
There is a US$100 early registration discount for The Ultimate Streaming Seminar. Customers who register for both events will receive a $100 discount.
