Native Instruments has announced the release of FM7 Sounds Vol.1, a collection of presets designed for the company’s FM7 software synthesizer (available for both Mac and PC, separately).
Native Instruments said that the new collection includes 256 different presets created by professional sound designers and FM synthesis experts. The presets reportedly “take full advantage” of FM7’s features, like envelopes with 31 breakpoints, two additional operators, extensive modulation capabilities, dedicated analog-style filters and a comprehensive effects section.
The collection provides everything from crystalline pads and various percussion modes to synths and looped sequences. The collection is broken into two separate content banks, each comprised four sets each.
The collection also includes a booklet that provides you with a list of sounds, their authors and assigned controllers. MP3 previews, screenshots and other information are available from the Web site. The suggested retail price is US$49.90.
