Fuji Photo Film U.S.A. is serving up a new USB portable storage device, dubbed, appropriately, the Fujifilm USB Drive.
The key chain sized device will be available later this month in 8, 16, 32, 64, 128 and 256MB storage capacities, with a 512MB version due in the fall. The USB Drive can store Mac and Windows files together with no problems, said Scott McNulty, director of marketing, Fuji’s Computer Products Division.
The price of the Fujifilm USB Drive, which weighs less than 1 ounce, will be based on capacity — the 128MB model will list for US$149.99. The drives will support Mac OS 8.6 and higher, although no specific mention was made of Mac OS X.
