Two additional sessions have been added to the schedule of presentations in The User Group Lounge at this week’s Macworld Conference and Expo in New York City.
Dave Marra, Apple Senior Systems Engineer, will present “Welcoming Windows Users,” an extension of the “Switchers” ad campaign. Chuck La Tournous of RandomMaccess will talk about “Maintaining Your Group’s Web Site With Little Or No Help.”
What’s more, throughout MWNY, there’ll be random prize drawings in the User Group Lounge, thanks to such sponsors as Aladdin Systems, Bare Bones Software, Broderbund, Casady & Greene, Futurosity, Microsoft, O’Reilly, and Riverdeep. For more info on the User Group Lounge, go to The MUG Center, an online resource for Mac User Groups (MUGs).
MUGs are good places for making new friends, finding Mac-loving buddies, boning up your technical expertise, finding solutions to technical problems, and sometimes finding a good deal on used hardware. For more info on MUGs, and to find the location of the one nearest you, go to Apple’s User Group Web page.
