Digital Asset Management features have been integrated with the latest version (10.2) of JobOrder from Management Software.
JobOrder, the business management software for the Mac, is targeted to design, advertising, engineering, consulting, and architectural companies. It’s a cross-platform, client-server solution for estimating, time and expense tracking, activity and resource scheduling, invoicing, accounting, and reporting.
It includes full Professional Services Automation and Customer Relationship Management functionality with both Client-Server and Web Native access. It’s “ideally suited” to meet the needs of organizations with 10 to 500 employees, according to Management Software.
JobOrder 10.2 with SmartScheduler is the first cross-platform product to integrate Digital Asset Management with a business management solution, the company claims. You can store thumbnail images of your logos, brand guidelines, photography, drawings, and fonts and share ’em across your company. JobOrder’s Digital Asset Management provides thumbnails, keywords, user-definable asset subjects and asset types, Job check-in and check-out, and instant searching.
JobOrder 10.2 — available in a variety of configurations — runs on Mac OS 8.6, 9.04, 9.1 and 9.2.1. A Mac OS X version is under development; a beta version is now available at the product Web site.
