Formac has released a new version of its Tevion software for their Studio dv/tv device.
The Studio dv/tv is a media converter is based on Formac’s proprietary DV technology. It lets you convert analog videos to professional DV.
Tevion 1.2 offers improved video and audio quality, plus synchronization. New preferences provide individual settings for brightness, contrast, saturation and color to adjust video quality. There’s improved channel identification for the TV-Tuner (cable as well as antenna), according to Formac. And there’s a link to Formac’s DVD authoring solution, Devideon.
The Devideon Superdrive is an external solution for DVD creation. The FireWire DVD-R/RW & CD-RW drive is based on Pioneer’s DVR-A04 technology, and comes bundled with Formac’s proprietary DVD authoring software.
If movies are captured in Tevion 1.2, you’ll automatically be prompted if you want to burn these videos on DVD. The Formac Devideon Superdrive and authoring software are required for this feature. The new OS X software is available for download now.
