Zoe 0.2.2 is an e-mail client for Mac OS X that works through a Web browser.
It has a built in SMTP server and Google-like search functionality and “lives” on your desktop. Zoe is written in Java and uses Lucene technology to provided instant searching and threading of your e-mails.
It’s been tweaked in version 0.2.2 so you can now see a summary of new messages through an RSS feed. Clicking a message summary opens the application with the message details and you can now bookmark any object in the application through a permanent link widget. Zoe also now supports SMTP forwarding.
Zoe 0.2.2 is free. You can download it (a 2.6 MB file) at the product Web site.
