The developer of the new QuickVoice product, has released Voice Stickies as a standalone product.
Voice Stickies works just like regular stickies, but with the added feature of recorded audio. With a single mouse click, you can record voice messages directly into stickies.
Voice Stickies is a great way to capture important information, according to nFinity President, Michael Corcoran, who said that, presently, most Mac users don’t even use their computer’s recording capabilities. QuickVoice and Voice Stickies should help change that by giving the Mac microphone “a more prominent and practical role in the computers overall user’s interface,” Corcoran said.
Voice Stickies, also a feature of QuickVoice, offers recording length limited only by your Mac’s hard drive, customizable Sticky colors, user-definable titling, up to 50 Desktop Stickies, a collapsible text box and adjustable audio compressions.
Voice Stickies is available for download — the price is US$12.95.
QuickVoice 1.5 is a “‘one-click’ personal voice recording” application that supports voice e-mail and Voice Stickies. It also incorporates personal messaging recording capabilities with 10 user definable channels, each capable of recording up to 99 messages. It can also be used as a multi-purpose audio recorder.
Available for online purchase and download, QuickVoice can also be downloaded in a trial version. It comes in versions for Mac OS 8, 9 and X, and costs US$19.95.
